Astral is a self-portrait composite image comprising a pinhole image of the figure and a widefield image of the Christmas Tree cluster and the surrounding starfield in the constellation Monoceros. Situated to the north-east of Orion, this deep-sky object is seen at its best in the weeks around the Christmas period.
