Mid-Wales Winter Open

After the delayed arrival of frames threatened to cause a missed deadline for this year’s Mid Wales Winter Open Exhibition everything fell into place and my three entries made it to their destination.

I have done all the framing for this and subsequent shows myself. Although this represents a large amount of work I really enjoy the hands-on, precision of measuring and cutting the mats, and the feeling of total involvement and control over the final result from conception, thorough platemaking and printing and ultimately to the final polished artwork.

I’m looking forward to talking to other artists at the PV and getting some reactions to this new work. I’ve been so close to it for so long that I need fresh eyes to really see it as others might.
